SYNOPSIS

How to create a community?
From which entrenchment do I have to move to give in to the relationship?
Perched no more invites you to immerse yourself in the landscape together with a group of unknown people. By moving the bodies from the area defined as a home, in a landscape that is still not very man-made, for a moment eliminating the certainty and protection of walls and smooth asphalt. In a steep and irregular terrain, with the aid of artistic and cultural tools such as walking, stories and songs, will we observe how we build relationships?

Walking is the practice shared among all human beings. Walking has shaped our species. In every ritual, repetition plays a fundamental role in generating a common intention and stimulating transformation. Walking is repetition. During this workshop we will focus on the act of walking in a non-humanized space, on personal differences, on the possibility of creating a collective movement while maintaining individual specificities. We will use walking as a fundamental gesture, as an access portal to our cellular memory, as a relationship activation device and as a means to encounter our surroundings. As we walk we will collect looks, sounds and words to share, to recall recent and ancient memories, perhaps shared; and create new ones to take with us as we continue our journey.

Walking, man also began to tell stories, in which he handed down his experiences, fears, wonders, encounters. Every day we will tell a story, using it as a filter to observe the present and move towards the future.
Walking and working man also began to sing, the songs were often spells, they used the power of the word, to enchant and thus overcome fatigue, pain, celebrate rites and passages.
The itinerary uses as an archive: MANTEIA, a handbook of stories, songs and proverbs produced by Architetture di Corpi, with the curatorship of Nuvola Vandini, Francesca Pedullà and Eric Acakpo, published by Kaba Edizioni.
