We observe the ℂ𝕆ℝℙ𝕆 as a micro-cosm in continuous movement, made up of principles and relationships that derive from and also make up the macro-cosm and scale many of the bodies that inhabit from there to here... only with different dosages and balances. We work with movement as a tool to analyze and discover a little of the magnificent complexity of which we are a part. In the binomial body and movement we seek the well-being that arises from awareness and from playing with it.

Contemporary Dance and FloorWork

Starting from observing and listening to the body and its relationships with the outside space, refining tools for the coordination necessary for the continuous change of supports, for the continuous changing of relationships between inside and outside. Contemporary dance speaks to us of dynamic crossings of space, the floorwork of an intimate relationship with the floor, on which to roll, slide, fall, jump, rotate. How to move from here to there with grace, harmony and above all with pleasure and joy?

Improvisation

The desire and need for this workshop stems from the performative experience BATTLE TRA ARIA E TERRA, curated for Officina last season. Here the acrobatic and dance arts met in a field of pure improvisation, revealing the richness and specificity of the art of improvisation.
The goal of this course is to provide tools for improvisation. By refining the awareness that this art has rules and limits to know and love, in order to make improvisation an effective communicative and poetic act, respectful of the public.
This course draws from several sources, the main ones being the Real Time composition created by Joao Fiadeiro and the logic behind the Axis Syllabus.
The course is open to all those who want to get involved with or without experience, acrobats, dancers, actors, who wish to deal with empty space, attentive gaze, reading and composition.
THE TRAINING COURSE PROVIDES FOR STUDENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN BATTLE EVENINGS CURATED BY THE WORKSHOP AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, STARTING FROM DECEMBER 2023.

Ester Braga and Chiara Zompa will lead you on a 3-hour journey to savor Bruno Caverna/Formless Arts' Play-Fight practice with body and mind.
Connection, non-resistance, falling, playing and comparing: some of the fundamental principles for entering into stimulating dialogue with others, acquiring new awareness and refining sensitivity.

Open space for improvisation, exploration, contamination and integration of new information intercepted during the workshop and an opportunity for meeting and creativity, in which to welcome the playful mixing of various languages, maintaining the focus on taking care of oneself and the group.
