We observe the ℂ𝕆ℝℙ𝕆 as a micro-cosm in continuous movement, made up of principles and relationships that derive from and also make up the macro-cosm and scale many of the bodies that inhabit from there to here... only with different dosages and balances. We work with movement as a tool to analyze and discover a little of the magnificent complexity of which we are a part. In the binomial body and movement we seek the well-being that arises from awareness and from playing with it.

Contemporary Dance and FloorWork

Starting from observing and listening to the body and its relationships with the outside space, refining tools for the coordination necessary for the continuous change of supports, for the continuous changing of relationships between inside and outside. Contemporary dance speaks to us of dynamic crossings of space, the floorwork of an intimate relationship with the floor, on which to roll, slide, fall, jump, rotate. How to move from here to there with grace, harmony and above all with pleasure and joy?

Improvisation

The desire and need for this workshop stems from the performative experience BATTLE TRA ARIA E TERRA, curated for Officina last season. Here the acrobatic and dance arts met in a field of pure improvisation, revealing the richness and specificity of the art of improvisation.
The goal of this course is to provide tools for improvisation. By refining the awareness that this art has rules and limits to know and love, in order to make improvisation an effective communicative and poetic act, respectful of the public.
This course draws from several sources, the main ones being the Real Time composition created by Joao Fiadeiro and the logic behind the Axis Syllabus.
The course is open to all those who want to get involved with or without experience, acrobats, dancers, actors, who wish to deal with empty space, attentive gaze, reading and composition.
THE TRAINING COURSE PROVIDES FOR STUDENTS TO PARTICIPATE IN BATTLE EVENINGS CURATED BY THE WORKSHOP AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, STARTING FROM DECEMBER 2023.

FallingUpDownStairs
Intensive week of Axis Syllabus with final performance.
The event, part of Scie Festival and Humus, is open to the public.
Teachers: Jerome d'Orso, Francesca Pedullà, Nuvola Vandini.
FallingUpDownStairs is an intensive week of study and performative research through the Axis Syllabus archive with the aim of staging Implied Line. Performative research developed by the Myelin Zone collective, Implied Line sees a group of people climb, descend, roll, fall from a large staircase. The seemingly trivial action speaks of relationship/transformation; bodies before a match and bodies during a match. Identity and otherness refer to otherness while a new body is born, the result of adaptation to the encounter.

Ester Braga e Chiara Zompa vi condurranno in un percorso di 3 ore per assaporare con corpo e mente la pratica di Play-Fight di Bruno Caverna/Formless Arts.
Connessione, non-resistenza, caduta, gioco e confronto: alcuni dei principi fondamentali per entrare in dialogo stimolante con l'altro, acquisire nuove consapevolezze e affinare la sensibilità.
